Great Outdoor Sites to Visit in Ontario

Ontario has plenty of great outdoor sites to visit, but one of the best may be the Niagara Falls. If you plan a trip to Ontario, visiting this one should definitely be on your to-do list. The Niagara area is only two hours away from Metro Toronto. You need only half-an-hour drive to see the astounding falls. Other American attractions are available as well. Stop by The Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory. It is the world’s largest of its kind, with exotic scenery as a background to approximately 2,000 butterflies. None of those butterflies had been captured in the wild; they were either bred there or obtained from commercial farms. Next stop should be Botanical Gardens and School of Horticulture. With free admission, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rose garden of 2,300 varieties of plants, vegetables and herbs. To treat your little kids, Clifton Hill may be the best next stop. It is located right next to the Falls. Dinosaur Park Miniature Golf is only one among many attractions available.

If you get tired of the crowds, try to take a trip to Niagara-on-Lake. Home of the Shaw Festival, it offers many antique shops, tea rooms and beds and breakfast in various prices. The Niagara Area also provides a huge variety of accommodation. In the off season, packages for two nights, including one dinner and two breakfasts, range from $120-$200 To make your trip even easier, you can rent a car in Ontario. Choose the right car from the right car rental company, your trip should be more enjoyable.
